Credit Note Policy
At Dreadlocks Society, we strive to provide our customers with the highest quality haircare products. However, we understand that sometimes a product may not meet your expectations or you may encounter issues with your purchase. We have implemented the following credit note policy to ensure a satisfactory shopping experience for all our valued customers.
Eligibility for credit note: Credit notes are available for dread care products purchased directly from Dreadlocks Society either through our official website or authorised retail partners.
To be eligible for a credit, you must provide proof of purchase, such as an order number or receipt. Credit notes will be processed in the original form of payment.
Timeframe for Refunds:
You have 30 days from the date of purchase to request a refund. If the 30-day period has passed, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a credit note.
Valid Reasons for credit note: Damaged or Defective Products: If the product you received is damaged during shipping or is defective, we will gladly provide a credit note or send a replacement product at no additional cost. Please notify us within 48 hours of receiving the damaged or defective product and provide photographic evidence, if possible. Allergic Reactions: If you experience an allergic reaction to one of our haircare products, we will issue a refund. PLEASE NOTE - We may request additional information or evidence to confirm the allergic reaction.
Non-Refundable Items: Opened or Used Products: For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns or issue refunds for haircare products that have been opened or used.
Products Not Purchased from Dreadlocks Society Pty Ltd: Credit notes are only applicable to products purchased directly from Dreadlocks Society Pty Ltd. If you purchased our products through an authorised retailer, please refer to their return policy for assistance.
Shipping and Handling Charges: Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the original shipping cost will be deducted from your refund amount.

Provide them with the necessary details, including your order number and reason for the refund. If your credit note request is approved, you will receive instructions on how to return the product.
Please ensure that the returned product is securely packaged to avoid any damage during transit. Once we receive the returned product, we will inspect it and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the refund will be processed within 7 days and will be issued to the original payment method.
